She is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and served on their national Board of Directors.

Dee has penned several books, her newest, Money. Simple title, but not a simple book. Everyone knows how important it is to make the most of their money. You try to spend wisely and save as much as you can. But to achieve true financial success you’ll have to move beyond the basics and learn about money management.

Women & Money, is a book for women and about women's struggles with their finances. The first half of the book is about putting a financial plan into place and getting your financial life in order. The last six chapters cover the financial roles women assume during their adulthood; wife, ex-wife, widow, mother, daughter or partner. This is a must read for every women. Dee's book is being used by many state treasurers across the country as a text book for their Women & Money Conferences.

The Complete Idiot's Guide to Retiring Early is all about catching the golden ring before age 65. So much of Dee's time is spent advising pre-retirees that a book about retiring early seemed a natural. What you need to know to achieve that illusive dream of an early retirement is all included in the book. It's fun and easy reading too!

Let's Talk Money  is a book written to help the reader understand the maze of personal finance. This book provides the reader with the nuts and bolts of the financial planning process and helps them set realistic goals that are achievable.

Dee's first book, The Complete Idiot’s Guide to 401(k) Plans, published by Alpha Books is essential resource material for the retirement plan participant. The title here is misleading for the book was not written just for the novice investor but offers the more sophisticated reader the opportunity to learn about retirement plans as well. Her books are available in bookstores or at Amazon.com

Because of her broad financial knowledge base, Dee is often consulted as an expert for many TV and radio stations across the country and is a regular contributor to CNBC’s Morning Call, CNN and ABC's evening news.
